need to search and replace text

I'm building a website using Drupal. I've got a test website uploaded already and now I'm looking at adding content.
I need to copy and paste quite a lot of text to fill the site. Most of the text I'm gonna lift from various websites...none of it is copyright as it comes from the distributors and we are a registerd supplier of their products.
The site is advertising stuff we sell and the info is available on all of our competitor sites as well, its provided by the distributors.

Thing is, I need to go through the text to find any names and take them out. Then replace the name with ours.

There are plenty of independent applications that you can use to search files, but I need it to work whilst I'm in the site building it. I'm using internet explorer as my browser atm.
any ideas ?

You can do it in dreamweaver if you have it.

But to do it in notepad just copy the text in or so. Then click edit tab and then select Replace. Or just press control + H

Find what: old names
Replace with: new name

then click replace all
