Not a child any more?

I have a daughter who's about to turn 16. We have a child's savings account in her name (with the Abbey) and would like to switch to an account which allows her access to her own money. Does anyone have any advice on where to go? The choices seem as ever to be overwhelming.

one with a good interest rate for starters and make sure she fills in a R85 so interest is paid gross (if her current one pays gross don't forget that lapses on her 16th birthday)
otherwise what sort of a/c does she want
-one with a cash card so she can use ATM
-one with a local branch so she can pay in and withdraw money ?0
