Steam train trips - discounts/vouchers etc

Hi

We are steam train buffs and looking forward to going on as many lines as possible when we get to the UK. I have found a few vouchers/discounts which I will post back, but wondered if anyone else had any ideas or tips on how to get steam train trips a bit cheaper?

Obviously most of the lines run on the smell of an oily rag thanks to volunteers, but most of us spend money on souvenirs/food etc when we actually get there.

Would love to hear some of your ideas.

or alternatively there is a steam train on the fort willliam line , sorry can't be more precise or have any discounts ....... although beamish sometimes do discounts
