Wow! The website is looking fantastic- well done everyone!

I just noticed the Leftovers list has been put on there and squealed at my OH to come see it shouting "Look! I compiled that!" I'm so proud!! :D (Little things please little minds eh?)

That nutrition part looks really good Weezl and i think you should have answered most peoples queries about it but you can be sure there will be someone who has another question that we havent thought about. Do you think we might need to add a bit about the omega or do you not want to start in with every little detail?
    xx

Thanks shanks. I can do that, rainbow was wondering about the fish, so I think it's a common concern. I'll pop it on a slightly less important do list for the moment tho :) (or you can! Anything to nag me about yet?)
hiya - I was watering the blueberries and looking up their growing conditions. I have put them in a bed with hostas. It is too light since cutting down a tree for the hostas, but the blueberries need the light, hmm what to do

did you want me to do something?

maybe I was just being nice:p

I was actually, but now I've remebered I was going to ask you about iron!

So quick! Flee back to the garden!!!

I have only got to page 117 but would like to chip in on the iron. I had Iron issues for decades but when pregnant with ds3/no 6 I was found to be severely anaemic but I have trouble with iron tabs as they cause diarhea in me. I got not only my normal levels up but my stored iron too in just six weeks by eating eggs, meat, wheatgerm and brewers yeast tablets. And floradix.
I had six tablespoons of wheat germ slaked with enough milk to let it swallow easily and had a few glasses of water afterward. I did it like this because I dont like it much and it is worse if it swells much in the bowl so I ate it quickly.
I also had 30 brewers yeast tablets a day( they are classed as food not medicine). They do cause problems with wind but because my baby's development was at stake it was a small price to pay.
I also had mega doses of floradix.
I could not eat much carbohydrate during the pregnancy because he was a big baby and there was no room so just stuck to that regime plus fruit and veg all day as often as I could eat them
This was not an easy option but it worked.
I now eat whole grains of wheat, from the local Asian supermarket, cooked in water and served with a tsp of jam stirred through for both iron and b vits. They also help with weight loss .
Right got to go now will try and catch up on the rest later.
