House next door

The property next door has recently been rented out (our neighbour has moved back to his home town but couldn't sell the house).
The tenants (3 blokes) are playing music loud enough for us to hear over our tv. Its now past 10pm and the base is getting annoying. We have been and asked them to be quiet on more than 1 occasion. Last time my OH went round the guy said but its the weekend mate!!! We don't care what bloody day it is!!!! Should we go to the LA? Can they do anything? Is there usually anything in the tenancy agreement?
If my hubby keeps having to ask, there will be trouble, cos he will lose his temper!!!

all agreements i've seen mention noise and not annoying neighbours- but you'd have to get the ll interested
several threads on this at the mo. lots of noisy rude people have appeared0 -
Great thanks, if we have to go round again I will make sure that we mention getting in touch with the Landlord and the Agents. I am not prepared to sit here weekend after weekend and listen to it.

do you share a wall? maybe put up some pictures at 6am
might escalate things somewhat though ...0 -
also if the tenants are good in every other way not sure the ll would be interested... if they're annoying him in other ways he might be0

We have lots of jobs that can be done early, but they do have a job that means they are out pretty early every day! So that won't work. Hubby has lots of what I like to call Angry Music that can be played very loudly, but that is being as bad as them!
I try my best to be considerate with our noise - I have 2 children and 2 dogs that like to play in the garden. I am constantly telling everyone to be quiet and turn the tv down, cos I don't want us to be nuisance, but it seems that I can't expect the same back! And their noise always seems to be after my children have gone to bed.
We own this house, but may have to move soon, having gone BR last month, I so hope I can get either a detached house to rent - or barring that nice neighbours when we move.

Might be worth speaking to the letting agent if you know which agent it is.
A couple of years one of the neighboring flats in my block was let out to 4 students who always seemed to choose Sunday nights to throw parties. They would slam doors, play loud music with all the windows wide open, visitors would keep pressing everyone's buzzers and they were a general nuisance.
I emailed our managing agent who contacted the letting agent and the end result was that their lease did not get renewed.0 -
