Hi everyone
One of our lovely MSErs is having problems getting onto MSE. She can get onto every other site, but MSE still isnt loading after 5minutes for several days now and not all the banners are showing

She is using IE8 and has uninstalled it and reinstalled and updated, but still the same

Any ideas ???

It's me that's stuck, I'm sort of in but it took 5mins to load this page. Alot of the forum tool buttons are missing, the quote button is in words. I can get further in Firefox, with IE shut down but still takes ages. It says waiting for images? Help please.

If its effecting both browsers it might be the computer. Is it only MSE? Try the following:

Download QtWeb. Its a small portable browser. Move it to a folder other than a Temp folder or your Desktop. Douple click QTWeb.exe and navigate to MSE Forum, see if that works any better.

Tried all that, even took out the Java update to see if it was that. Even tried changing the router channel. Sorry, not great at this. Can get on eventually, takes ages to load the last bit of each page, says at the bottom 'downloading picture http//:images2'. But I cannot refresh the page, after 10mins that won't happen.

Yes, just MSE.

Ok in QtWeb Click on Privacy>Disable Images and try again.

Still doesn't work, best I can do is in Firefox but that's what I'm on now and the page is still loading images. It's pants!

First thing to do is see if you are accessing the webpage as a cached version. In IE, go to the site and press CTRL and F5 at the same time. If this doesn't work, try deleting all history, cookies, and temporary internet files. You can do this by clicking Tools, then 'Delete Browsing History', then selecting the aforementioned items, then pressing OK, or Delete. Now try going to the webpage again, by pressing CTRL and F5.
