Saving for a tax bill - Help

I'm self employed, so I pay a stonking tax bill every January and July. I save up about £ 2 -3000 every month to meet this bill. Where can I get the best return on this money ( I pay tax at 40%) before I have to pay it out?
an ISA is no good as the account is emptied every 6 months

Something like www.theaa.com/savings paying 2.8% would be a starting point.

You should probably review the account every 6-12 months to ensure the rate you are getting has remained competitive.

Remember, you'll have additional tax to pay on the interest!
