Morning everyone from a wet and windy North East. May need to go down to DDs today but hopefully she has sorted out her problem with her dongle. She had put £15 on last night to get 3G and she only got 1G. Her friend was talking her through it so fingers crossed. She is not the most patient of people. Im off for another cuppa before I start the list.

    embb Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

Little bit grey here, but I'll be gardening if it stays dry enough. Off to do the kitchen, washing already on.

Morning everyone. Great list Pigpen. Thank you:D

Supposed to be going out but DS2 has the gallops (no way could we call it the trots!) so will have to wait & see how he is feeling later. Feels ok in himself but this is day 2 now so he is fed up. Am trying to force feed him alot of water but he is failing to see the point of it. Have been rushing round wiping everything with bleachy cloths & for once everyone is being religious about hand washing:T the dog is the only other one who seems to be slightly affected but that could have been the pork scratchings DH has been feeding him:(

    Desnotting vibes for soappie!

Slow start for me this morning 1.gif have only managed 2 mugs of tea and to feed the dog.

Need to throw the old painting clothes on then hoover the skirting etc in the front room for painting. Also need to try and see if I can find out how to clean the marble fireplace as it is looking decidedly grim

Hope everyone has a good BH even if the weather's not great

    See you all later

One load of laundry in and all bins emptied.

It's miserable outside, so I think I'll pack a back, put my gym kit on and once the laundry is swapped over (it appears to be breeding!) I'll head into town for a workout/run (and possibly a sauna :D) and then possibly get my passport photos done (if not I'll do that tomorrow) and a bit of shopping (need more gym kit for a start).

Hopefully I'll return energised to finish the kitchen & floors, and start getting to grips with a few bits of work...

    Decluttered all surfaces in kitchen
Took dinner out the freezer (quiche and new potatoes and salad - salad wasnt in the freezer!)
Cleaned the toaster and behind the microwave

Just had a bagel and a cuppa then i'm going to clean the rest of the kitchen and do some more laundry.

    Hi all

I've been up a couple of hours but not doing much apart from watching the box. Am now back in bed with laptop whilst DH watches the end of his opera. Think I might have a snooze :) I am still so tired, wondering if it will ever pass. We are going out later for a meal and to the opera, to be honest I'd r aather stay home in bed :(

In terms of productiveness I have listed my futon on netmums, if it doesn't go from there for £20 I will freecycle it, and have been looking at double beds online: we need one for the spare room for when one of us doesn't sleep well/parents come to stay/might be useful once the baby comes... really don't want to spend a lot but want to get a comfy one...think it needs to be a frame bed as we won't get a divan up the stairs. Also needs to have space under to stash stuff!

    Morning all!

    Happy birthday, embb.

I should have known better than to make plans for today. DH was going to clear all the junk from the back yard, as we've had no rain for 2 days. Guess what - it's raining, or at least it was earlier. DH is still in bed and if it's too wet outside, he'll just sit in front of the telly all day. That will really do nothing to motivate me to do stuff.

2 mugs of tea and breakfast decluttered and DSs fed and watered. They've been watching lots of dinosaur programmes this morning, so I need to get them to do something more active (like helping their Dad clear the yard ;)). I'll go and put the kettle on again and kick DH out of bed - see what happens. I would love to deep-clean the kitchen and slap a coat or two of paint on the walls. I've only had the paint for two years... :o

ETA The playhouse I bid for on e-bay is back on. I wish the guy had got in touch with me privately, because I would have paid the price it finally went for. I suppose he deleted my details or is holding out for more money. I'll try again, I think.

Have a good day, everyone. Hugs and vibes as needed.
