  • Failed miserably. So I have booked a resit for December costing £300 + £1,700 tuition. Ouch.

I am only contributing minimum payments towards my credit cards. as I am short on cash and thus need to build a 6 month buffer. This is important because the financial industry has taken a knock over the last few months, I could be out of a job so fingers crossed with the next 6 months.

I am heading back into work after 2 weeks off from work on Monday, this has helped with savings but all the money has been thrown at the CFA resit. I guess, I'll need to take the view of, "short term pain, long term gain."

Debt is currently sitting at £6,260.31; 0% until October 2012 and January 2013. I don't think I'll start to repay the full amount until October 2012 or I may move the debt onto another 0% card. If I continue making minimum payments, my total debts at October 2012 will be £4,972.31. I can easily move these on to another 0% card.
Credit Card Debts: £11,605.95/£16,240.53 - 71% paid off.

£4,634.61 credit card debt remaining. Aim for credit card debt free before

  • Things have really got bad to worse.

I failed my exam AGAIN and my credit card debts have increased to £9,400.

5 steps forward and then 10 steps back.

  • Wow.

    What a month.

Had a successful month at work, this resulted in paying off just over £4,800 of my debt. My debt balance is now £4,634.61 with the monthly payments slashed considerably.

Fantastic. I should be able to pay off another £500 shortly.
