Is it supposed to look like this? It has 3 tiny, tiny green buds on it but other than that it looks all dried up:

Hmm, not sure. Mine were looking very healthy when they arrived, lots of lovely white shoots. Planted them yesterday and this morning the shoots have all gone brown.
Maybe someone else can advise whether this is something that happens before they pick up again.

This is mine planted 3 days ago

I did out home grown compost in and soil is slightly over root ball

It might just need settling in did you plant it in a exposed place as it like a sunny sheltered place I think

That plant pic doesn't look good at all roses, both mine look like savemoney's pic and have started to open out a little since planting and watering.
Email you pic to T&M and they may re-send another.

Thanks, I already mailed them on Monday night and sent them a photo. No reply yet, will call them next week if I don't hear back :(

Don't forget these are hibernating plants and you need to give them a few weeks to wake and start to grow. This is why you are able to receive them without any soil etc. So some will be at different stages as sometimes the plants 'wake up' and endeavour to try and grow hence some have shoots and others, like welshue's just have tiny buds.

I received mine yesterday, must have been from the bottom of the pile as it came complete with a few cobwebs, however, it has some shoots and a good root system so it's outside in a tall and deep pot.

I plonked mine in a bucket of water for a few hours before planting, dug a deep hole and put a mix of compost and dried bonemeal in the bottom of it, then put the plant in and watered really well. It is growing great now.

Roses, a friend of mine got one that looked like yours, she planted it and it is starting to grow now.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
