Considering Loan options for a family emergency

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I'll try to keep my comments brief. I am in desperate need of £1000 for a family emergency, but I currently have many financial commitments (Credit Cards, Unsecured Loans), some of which are under slightly reduced arrangements. Obviously, this means I am unable to get hold of any loan from any of the high street loan vendors.

Where is the best place for me to look, considering that I am in full time employment?

Thanks for your help in advance.

if you are already in arrangements with your other loans, credit cards etc how are you planning on paying back anything you intend to borrow ?

If your own bank will not lend to you, then i doubt anyone else will.

    Hi,

Thanks for the response. I have a change in my financial circumstances from March. I have sold my car, which means from April I save just over £150 per month. This figure is calculated by taking the monthly sum of fuel, insurance, taxes and maintenance less the cost of my alternative means of transport to work.

From May, I can safely commit £100 per month to offset the balance of the loan.

OP can you say what the family emergency is? Unless its dire I don't think you should look to take on board extra obligations. Don't mean to be negative

I'd rather not take on additional obligations. It's the last thing I would do, given that my current cash flow plan is performing smoothly.

Ideally, if I could sell off every piece of remaining consumer electronic item that I have within a few days, it would be ideal. Although I can't see the sum of all items reaching more than a couple of hundred pounds, as most of them are older than 3 years. I am trying of course.

OP, thats what I thought. What is the emergency. Why do you need the money so quickly? Getting more credit isn't always the answerx x
