Eon - Meter seems to have a problem - What should I do?

hi
I have been with Eon for 3+ years on electricity only (small flat - no gas). Never had any problems with them so far.

Received last week an email to provide meter reading and doing so received my bill.

However I have, by chance, glanced again at the meter and it is still showing the same numbers. Therefore it seems that there might be a problem with the device.

What should I do? Report this to Eon or is it there responsibility to monitor and check the meter?

Thanks in advance for any comments

tell eon as it sounds like a stopped meter and they will only catch up with it evenutally and estimate what your usage would have been.

Let them know that your meter has stopped working, that the numbers aren't increasing, they will then arrange for a new meter to be installed. When the new meter is in and working, they'll take two meter readings from you, say two weeks apart, and use this to work out what your faulty meter should have been taken out at. To be honest, it's likely to be in your favour, because we've now passed the very cold spell we had not long ago! :)

When I reported a stuck meter the company replaced the it and said as it had only been a few months they would not charge for the electricty I had used while the meter was broken.
