I'm in Cambridge and my tomatoes, chillies, aubergines etc have been in an unheated greenhouse for at least 3-4 weeks and are fine. I did wait until they were reasonably robust and I do keep an eye on the weather forecast and would bring them in if it looks like we're going to have a frost. So far so good!

I have tomato, cucumber, courgette, runner beans and various flower seedlings in an unheated greenhouse. They have been in there for 2/3 weeks - but I do cover them with 2 or 3 layers of agricultural fleece overnight. That gives a fair bit of protection from possible frost and they have not been set back at all.

Mind you , I am in mid Cornwall and this is a milder part of the country although we are still occasionally getting overnight frost.

Me too and I'm in the Midlands. If seedlings are mollycoddled then they wimp out at the first sign of a breeze. Grow them hard and when the warm weather kicks off, they romp away. I don't put any fleece on them though, just keep the door closed all day and night to keep the heat in.
