    Maybe nearlynew's wife has heard his 'inflation is theft' bit once too often, and didn't want to be accused of abetting inflation. So bought at pre-inflation prices. Sort of 1932 or something. :)

    I'd like to think that living with someone who had that carved on the bed would make you watch your spending. ;)

    NN may have to change his mantra to Deflation gives you more.....

    Nope me neither...a google brings up a second hand one from Oxfam (who I didn't realise sold online) and............
    Matalan...so must be own brand

    Looks like £6 per shirt + tie combo though....

    MY OH bought 2 items in M & S the other day, both per una and 1 was reduced from £35 to a fiver, the other 1 was £45 down to £9. ker-ching :)
