I know the majority of people out there are going to take the mick out of me but I have just bought a 1.1 fiat panda, the best thing is it only costs £35 a year to tax, group 1 in insurance and 9p per mile on average.
Definatly something to consider if you need a small car
for diesel lovers there is a diesel version that does 70mpg:beer:
Also it's very greeeeeen hence the tax bracket

Sweet!
But I love my 4 litre Ford Explorer too much!

is this a new one? just thinking that any gains will be more than offset by depreciation over the first few years.

I won't take the mick- we hired a Panda (Amanda) in Greece last year, and she was a fab little car.Only dead fish go with the flow...0

I bought the 1.1 Active Eco last year - really pleased with it ........so cheap to run and the insurance is so low.0

It's only 9p per mile if nothing goes wrong......but it's a Fiat.....so might be worth revising the 9p in a few months!!
Seriously though...well done on the the new car:beer:

Yes but cheap for a new car and low running costs. Some people are happy to take the depreciation hit on a new car. Its all very well buying use as I usually do but at the moment there seems to be a shortage of good used cars. If you go to main dealers there are lots of overpriced used cars.
They are doing that model of Panda for £5995 at the moment.
Good find.0 -
I got it from a main dealership who took it as a part ex includes 2 year warranty, 12mths tax, 12months M.O.T and a service all for £2500.
I appreciate they devalue in price quickly...that's why I got a bargain
Suits me fine anyway :money:0 -
i wont slate you,i have a soft spot for the Panda
though i would probably go for the 100HP from a styling point of view

I wont laugh either - if you are happy, thats the most important thing. Enjoy the panda.
But I love my VW Golf Plus - I need more room than small cars offer now.0
