Hubby is trying Opera to see if it suits him better. Is there any way of having something simliar like the morning coffee extension in Firefox or adding multiple websites like you do in Explorer?

Opera Speed Dial (built in) gives you a choice of up to 9 of your favourite sites. If you want it to always open your own choice of websites you can do this by setting up a session with those sites open and always open that session. That seems to be the equivalent of Morning Coffee (and of course there are no 'extensions' in Opera and never will be as they are seen as a security risk).

I always use opera:blank as my homepage.....

Thanks for your interest in Opera, a great browser.

you can change it so there are more than nine sites on the page, but it makes the icons a bit smaller, not so good if you're using a laptop.

Alternatively, open the sites you want to open, then click the big O in the corner, go t "Tabs and Windows" and "Sessions" then select "Save this session" and type in a name.

Then go to the options with Ctrl+ F12, and for the startup tab, choose "Continue saved sessions" - or "Show startup dialog" if you don't want to have them all the time
