This morning my Sony Vaio all in one PC stopped working. No idea what is wrong, just have a black screen. I can hear the fans so it has power.
Problem is I can't remember if I registered it, it is about 8 months old and was my pride and joy.
Can't even remember where I bought it. It was somewhere online but I have no idea which credit card I used and my statements are only going back 6 months.
Ah well I will phone the Vaio helpline on Tuesday. Wonder if they will take my word for when I bought it?

If it's 8 months old it should be going back to the retailer, not to the manufacturer.poppy100

They will know when you give them the serial no.If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
You don't need to have registered it, just find your proof of purchase and go back to the retailer. Your cc comany can provide duplicate statements if necessary.
Find it hard to believe that you did not keep a receipt for your 'pride and joy' or even know where you bought it!
Have you tried booting into Safe Mode?No free lunch, and no free laptop
