You need an empty barrel of some sort. You could ask on freecycle if anyone knows any places that give them away.
Got any food processing places near you?
Birds were having a bath in ours this morning... by bath I mean holding on tight and have a splash with their wings rather than going in for a swim

You might need a drainpipe divertor to attach to the water butt around £8 doesn't say it comes with that0 -
Try Wilkinson's they deliver from their on-line site , Also Wickes in your area they had a butt strong extra large 210 litres for about £25 with a lid .0

I bought 2 tesco water butts last week, they were half price and i managed to pay half the cost with my tesco points vouchers. They are slimline and only hold 100 litres or thereabouts, but they come with the stand and a lid and the tap. If you don't already have a rain dieverter kit you will need to buy one, i bought one for about £5 from Wickes. Within 2 days of getting my butts (lol!) up and running, they were both full of water. I'm very pleased with them and would recommend them.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

i have the tesco one, it's pretty good, as other have said it does come with a diverter, i got a diverter kit from wilko for £3.50. it has an overflow in it as well as when the butt is full it allows water to continue down the drainpipe, instead of overfilling the butt.:A Self-Employed, Divorcee Mum of Two trying to make it in the world :A0
