i havnt left any messages Fw ... i have just been reading and following ... as i say i am really enjoying it ... and that post resonated so clearly with me ... it says what i feel0 -
Sorry, El. My question was very unclear. I was not asking which comment was yours but which relationship you identified with? But thinking about it it is probably what I described in 'the power of small'.
And the answer is that I still don't know where it comes from but suspect it is a combination of things. I have started thinking back and figuring out my 'money blueprint'. I certainly believed that money is bad, and that people who have it are not very trustworthy either. I have never be interested in security and have this ability to focus completely on few things - hence money and spending it was entirely out of my immediate world.
Does this make sense?

yes it does make sense ... total sense ...
i recognize in myself the despizing of money and not allowing it in my life ... i gave ( and sometimes still give) alot of money away ... it meant nothing to me ... i wasnt interested in it ... i saw it more as something that would hold me back ... as long as i had enough to do what i needed it to i wasnt interested in having anymore ... so would gladly give it away ...
i have only very recently started changing my relationship with money ... even though i have been on mse for years ... it's only now that i am looking at money in a whole new light ... which is why your blog is perfect timing for me just now
i have been reading some books as well that have helped alot .... the richest man in babylon was a very easy book to read ... i... like you dont do religon and it did kinda reek a bit too much of religon to me ... but .... it was very easy to read and really helped me understand money that little bit more ... it hadnt told me anything i didnt already know ... but i just didnt understand before0 -
Sorry for not posting these last couple of days - I have been pre-occupied with too much work. However, today I need a favour. At 13.30 I am having a telephone conference with an important research funder and depending on the outcome of nthis conversation we will either have funding to write a book on our latest research or not. This is important because: it gives paid time for this so it doesn't have to be done evenings and weekends (so I can write here and have some fun); it is a sign of reputation and recognition (which is always nice to have).
Would any of my virtual friends out there send wishes to the Universe and prayers to Deity of their own choice, please. It will feel much better if I feel this strength behind me.
