Book Club Bill

Hi, I was looking for a bit of advice regarding a book club bill I have received. Here's the story behind the bill, an agency that my wife has had dealings with before, phoned her to ask if she wanted childrens books to be sent out to us. My wife said she didn't want them and the ageny said that it was ok as she could send them back if she didn't want them. Again my wife said that she didn't want them, but the guy sent them out anyway.
We wouldn't have accepted the delivery of these books, but the postman left them with a neighbour. So, annoyed :mad: we paid to send them back recorded delivery, with a covering letter stating that we didn't want them sending us anything else. We have now, a few weeks later recieved a bill for these books.
Does anyone know what my rights are, it's not a lot of money, but I don't want to pay, however I don't want it to affect my creidt rating or for them to start sending more books.
Cheers

have you checked the tracking, are they showing as being signed for?
send them a compliant with what was stated above and enclose the tracking reference, say you have returned the book, they show as being returned and ask for a full and immediate refund and clearly state you don't want to recieve any more books, probably best to send by email and one recorded if you can so they cant say they never got itYes Your Dukeiness

I would also state in the letter that if any further books are received then they will be classed as unsolicited goods and as such the book club will be responsible to arrange the collection of said books.2014 Target;
