Hi there, i have been accepted for fee and course grant, but had a letter saying to be considered for the pla i had to send my childrens birth certificates which i had forgot to do. now, dispicable i know  but i cant find them! ive hunted the whole house. so to replace 3 will be £21 i think. im just wondering if its worth me doing this ie how much is this parents learning allowance, is it one off, monthly, quarterly etc? if im not going to be missing out on much then i wont worry,as i really havent even got that £21 right now,and they have to recieve them by wednesday.TIA

Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p

Think it is up to £1500 a year depending on your wages savings etc so would recommend you get those forms. With Easter you will have to do so on Tuesday then try to get it to them first class.
Maybe email them to confirm you are sending it to make sure it is OK.
Anyone on here with the ou and get the allowance?0 -

Can you give a link to this please? I know that it's only for Wales so I won't have come across it before but it seems so unlikely that there's a 4,500 pa grant for part times tudy. Thanks
Edit: Student Finance Wales says about 750.00 pa for a course that's 50% part time.0
