Sat 3rd April/Choccy Easter Sunday - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

I'm also on the recycling thing fay! lol
No one else up yet? I guess I'll start then
Not really a DFW day today, more a money spending expert day.
Today I have/will:
- [STRIKE]Checked banking[/STRIKE] Spent too much in Ikea yesterday
- [STRIKE]Finish sorting out livingroom/kitchen.[/STRIKE]
- Research cost of new surround sound after ours went pop
- [STRIKE]Go to B and Q (love it!) for some trunking and[/STRIKE] something to hide copper pipes.
- [STRIKE]Get dressed![/STRIKE]
- Batch cook cakes/cookies
- [STRIKE]Meat out of freezer for schnitzels[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Had breakfast from stores.[/STRIKE]
- D[STRIKE]SS being dropped off soon,[/STRIKE]
- Identify what needs to be done in the bathroom to make it look nice. Including utilising DM when she comes over for cupboard building ideas.
That's plenty enough for today I think, happy weekend all!

Afternoon all
Feels like Sunday today! Nice slow start to the holidays, have all next week off…yay!
So, stuff for today:
- Check bank
- Bake fruit loaf
- Make CC payment (should’ve been done yesterday)
- Enter at least 10 comps
- Update budget sheet – got a few big extras going out this month and need to know how much I’m going to be short
- Have a relaxing bubble bath this evening
- List 4 items on the turbolister ready for the weekend
- Ironing
- Sort paperwork
- HC and airer dry…where’s the sunshine?
- General bedroom tidy-up
I’ll be happy if I can get through this today. I spent some time on the snowball calculator yesterday, which has left me a little de-motivated. Such a long journey ahead…
I’ve been reading the diaries for some inspiration and ideas (read yours Littlekel), am even thinking of adding a diary myself which might help keep me on target.
Hope you all have a good day.
