Signing Contracts

Hi,

We are finally going in to sign contracts on monday.

What happens next? We are hoping to complete and exchange on the same day whenever that will be.
When does this usually could happen?

    but that doesnt really answer my questions. i know what the processes are but how long does it usually take from signing contracts to exchanging/completing from ppl's experiences?

    Could be up to a month as some solicitors like to complete it all at the end of the month so you only need to pay one mortgage payment.

    Best ask the solicitor in question when you see them on Monday as each has their own way of doing things.

    my buyer has signed her contract today and we are hoping to exchange and complete early next week. What kind of chain is it?
    Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.

    Challenges 2015
    No alcohol January. No spend February
    Write down all spends over the whole year

    The house is vacant, and he have no chain. so zero chains all round :)
