Ok I need to put my combi bolier condensing pipe into the main drain pipe so I'd like to drill a hole through the wall and then plumb it in that way.
The question is whats the cheapest way to do it? Will I need to buy a diamond core drill ?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Alan

Why don't you hire one for the job? This would be a LOT cheaper than buying one.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

The cheapest way is a hammer and chisel. Using a long (300mm ish) cold chisel and rotating it after every few blows. Or you could use a small dia (6-8mm) masonry bit to drill the first hole then ream it out with a chisel. You'll be surprised how neat you can make it with a little time and care.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0

It's also good form to make sure that there's a between the drain and the condensor outlet, if the main pipe gets blocked, it would be very bad for your boiler if the water backs up inside it.
