Noooo......;)
I think you mean get a house at a reasonable price at the expense of a poor granny's 5-star Round the world world cruise.0 -
Have to admit Daddybear, about 9.5% decrease is about what we are experiencing down the road from you.0

Hamish's link to the statistics show rises have actually been 'good' in my area. I looked at Dec 2003 and Dec 2009 and was surprised how much this area had increased in relation to other areas of Scotland. I am no good at percentages so can't work out if Clackmannanshire or Aberdeenshire have fared better over the period.
House prices don't mean much to me I bought my house for a lowish price in Dec 2002 and have paid off the small mortgage. I like it here and have no reason to sell. However I am not sure this is indeed good news for my daughter who is just turning 18. When she comes to buy a house it will simply be harder for her.0 -

Can you update with the Feb stats?“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
