Estate agent opening hours

How things have changed. My agent closes early Saturday and doesn't open at all on Sunday. It seems quite common round here at the moment. I can remember when they opened 7 days a week and late into the evenings. Obviously not enough work to justify opening longer hours at the moment.

I couldn't get through to mine today so I am assuming that they were closed. I am hoping that they will be open tomorrow (Saturday) but who knows? I wish I had asked. Not sure whether or not to have a good old tidy up in the middle of our holiday weekend. :)

I also remember when Easter weekend was a busy, busy time for viewing property.:(

We've been open all day....I've just got in :(

Others agents closed all day . We are open as normal tomorrow and Monday, don't see why we should close really.
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)

    Communication is a two-way street.

Surely with all the telephonic tech we have these days, it can't be that expensive to get a phone system that diverts to someone, whether on mobile or (home) landline?

I found my estate agent was closed this afternoon, as was the one who has a place I'd like to buy. Easter was traditionally the busy time for estate agents but its now frustrating to find everything stopping just when people have the time off to browse.

The weather is against us where we are but I am hoping that my estate agent will be open today, after all, isn't is just a normal Saturday? I would probably expect them to be closed on Monday, but have fingers crossed for today.

Ours was open yesterday (Saturday) as we got a call to book a viewing early next week. I know they don't normally open on Sundays and I am fairly sure they will be closed tomorrow as it is a BH.
