Could someone direct me here as BOS have confused me in there reply when all others I have claims with have replied in same manner
BOS have replied with the following:
Your letter refers to the consumer credit act 1974 this act covers credit cards and loans and not current accounts and therefore they are unable to consider my comments in relation to this.:eek:
Strange thing is all other banks were sent the same letter and all replied in same manner chapter and verse 4 pages long of why I am wrong which I am still trying to understand so I know where to go next
Regarding BOS reply what should I do next as at a loss
My bank is St James Place Bank (part of Bank of Scotland PLC which is part of HBOS as well)
In total I think I have about £5K to try to claim back from 4 banks which would be handy for October when my first child is born
Help is required please.

An overdraft agreement is not covered by the CCA. Looks like they've just been a bit more thorough in their response. Have you read through the guide to reclaiming on the site?Getting married 02.08.14
