Need some advice...

Options
I was made redundant late last year as due to being TUPE'd into another company which carried out all the proper consultations blah blah blah. I was told that there was no job for me where I was working as it was deemed the position could be covered by one person and was made redundant (not too bad a payout to tell the truth)

I am still in touch with ex workers as they are friends and since the day I left the new company have covered the site with either two or three people, one of them I worked with for years and the others are there to help out and are employed by the company that TUPE'd us in.

I will be phoning ACAS for advice but I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and what was the outcome as if I can I will instruct a solicitor as I am still out of work and to be truly honest if I can get something out of it then why not.

I just hope what I have written makes sense ;p

Thanks

Sorry I'm confused. Did you TUPE or not. What is your concern about being made redundant, were you or were you not consulted with? Did you think your redundancy was not fair?

hah did I write it out that badly, I was TUPE'd had no choice as if I didn't I would be technically resigning, once TUPE'd job was at risk was made redundant and the company did go through the options of interviews and test for other positions which all the people tested though was a joke and that they where just going through the options to cover themselves.

The fact is that where I was working two people covered the role they decided only one person needs to cover that role and I was let go but since the day I left there have been two people on site continuously but the second person is/as employed by the company I was TUPE'd into.

Am I still rambling? been celebrating Easter far too much ;p

IF you have known about this for sometime, why are you looking to do something now?

What are you trying to achieve?

ACAS are likely to tell you that you only had 3 months from the date of your redundancy to make any claim whether it was for your job back or further compensation. From your mail it would appear you have exceeded the time allowance.
