Can I claim?

Options
Hiya,

I'm currently reclaiming charges on my Lloyds TSB CC for PPI and whilst I was doing some digging on my old statements I tallied up I've paid around £1800 in charges on my Graduate(then Student) account in the past.

My financial position has been, at the best of times, chequered and I've gone from having a £1k optional overdraft to be in a position where I'm paying off £2.5k by an agreement because my charges spiralled out of control. Some months I've paid in the region of around £300 just on charges.

Could I reclaim any of these? These are all due to the fact I was at uni, had no money and then when I did have money it just gets eaten straight back up. I've had several agreements with them but then have had emergencies and had to break the agreement and ended up getting loads more charges due to it.

I did get a rebate of £250 once from them on charges but that was about it.

Can I reclaim any of this or have I just got to learn from my mistakes?

  • You need to read Martin's Guide to reclaiming since the question is not if you can reclaim but IF YOU WANT to reclaim and please read EVERYTHING you can.
