Pampas Grass

What is the best way to get rid of Pampas Grass please ?
I cannot burn it because of nearby Trees.
I would like to get rid of this monster to make better use of the space.

Glyphosate!

Cut the grass down to about 10cm above ground level then spray with glyphosate or if you can inject it straight into the grass. Once you spray it if possible cover with a black weed membrane or heavy black plastic. Were it to start growing again spray it again around September and cover again.

This method gets rid of Japanese knotweed!

Glyphosate works really well can be a little pricey so shop around for the best price and follow the the instruction.

Good luck as said works on knotweed and have used the same method on bamboo.
