HELP! account not showing as included in the IVA??

Options
I am in an Iva and have been for 3 and half years now. There is an overdraft account that should be included in my IVA however it is not showing that it is included in the IVA on my credit file. The other accounts with the same bank are showing as 'special arrangement' but the overdraft account is not. It is also showing as in default. I am concerned that when the IVA finishes this account will not have been cleared as it should have. Should I write to the bank to check it has been included in the IVA? I asked creditexpert to question them about the default and the response was that they 'request a copy of the completion certificate' does this mean that they are aware that the overdraft is included in the IVA? Confused!!

    Speak to your IP.

The debt should be included and if it's not it needs to be dealt with. It might be just a matter of having it added in (provided it doesn't affect the dividend too much). If not then it might require a bit more work - to be honest, worst case scenario is your iva fails so sort it out.

Your IVA paperwork that you signed (you should have a copy) would indicate if the debt was included. Can you remember if you highlighted the account to your IP at the start of your discussions?

As Charco says you need to check with your IP and look at your IVA paperwork.

As for the defaults all your debts will probally end up showing defualts, your just need to make sure teh date if not after the date you started your IVA. This is where you will use your Certificate of Completion to tody your credit file once IVA is finished and then all defaults will drop off 6 yeras after IVA start date.
