My internet is chucking me off. It seems to go funny for a while throwing me off frequently & then seems to be ok for a while.

Is it likely to be the router or line?

If its the router I could change it, if its the line (& I'm on an old type exchange that doesn't have the cheap or unbundled or whatever it is BB), I guess I'm stuck with it?

Mines doing the same but i think its to do with Aol updating the lines

Have you tried looking at the internet light on your router?
In most cases, flashing yellow means its trying to synchronise, solid Yellow synchronised, solid green logged in.
Of course you could log onto your router to see if you have an IP address on its ADSL port.

PS If you are connecting wirelessly try using ethernet if drop outs cease then you have found the fault.
