I think the comments relating to flouting the law on hunting have been posted to reflect the calibre of the people whom the OP is posting about.

If they are willing to flout laws that Parliament have passed then they will think nothing of flouting the constitution of their Organisation.

The OP has been given a number of options as to how to proceed but with the limited response from the OP then it is difficult to give further advice.

  • I feel sorry for OP, I once was member of a club and the Finance Man ran off with the chairmans wife and they took the money with them!

I hope OP gets things sorted

Hintza, my comments are exactly what they say. If the officers of an organisation have no respect for the law of the country, why would they bother following the rules/constitution of an organisation? They obviously consider themselves behind reproach.

    The fox hunting debate aside...

Many clubs come up against bad management mainly because the people who are running the board are not qualified for the job.

By this I don't mean qualified by bits of paper, but often they have no common sence or business ability. Many clubs turn over vast amounts of cash but have poor management, theft and fraud. Many board members think they are doing the right thnigs, others are just keen on social ladder climbing and being 'in charge' of others. They have no business skills whatsoever!

If you suspect insider fraud then either report to the charities commission or if you suspect serious fraud - the police.
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!

Who says they have no respect for the laws of the country?

What you are saying is that they hunt (most probably in the legal confines that now govern that pastime) and you don't agree with it therefore they must be bad and dishonest people?
