Study Advice

Hi I need some advice, i'm looking to increase my knowledge for my own personal financial planning.
Im looking at doing a course like CeFA or CII, the reason for this is if i'm going to study I may as well get a qualification out of it.
Over the past year I have read:
FT Smarter Investing
FT Guide to Investing
The Naked Trader
Rich Dad Poor Dad ( Both of them)
Come into My Trading Room
Dummies Guide to Investing
All this was done when we had very little money, but we are self-employed (5 Years) and over the last lot a months business has went through the roof. We have pretty much become debt free and will have saved up our safety cash buffer. So its time to get down to investing not just dreaming.
So my question is, would CeFA of CII be of any benefit, . I looked on the likes of Open University but no course's stood out
Is there any other options that i'm overlooking? I need something that is distance learning, im in Northern Ireland.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks

between the 2 i chose CII as after looking at their sylabus i preffered theirs to cefa, the exams majority are multi choice. from dealing with them they have been very efficient and i really like their manuals as the infomation is set out well and easy to understand. they also send me regular updates .
I know someone doing cefa and have found that their manuals are alot harder to understand, you can also take your pick of the CII modules HTH0
