Help with Graphics Card

Options
Ive just ordered a Packard Bell iXtreme X5620 from Currys.
It has a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 integrated graphics processor but states in the description that if you want to use the computer for gaming you should buy a dedicated graphics card.
Do i need to buy a specific type of graphics card to match the pc or the NVIDIA Geforce or can ibuy any video card.
I will probably only play FM 2010 on it anyway but im not sure if that would even work on it as it says something on the box about it needing 256mb graphics!.
I play all other games on console so graphics dont have to be great.

As long as you buy one which is for a PCIE 16x, which is the normal type of connection these days. Don't buy AGP which is the old format. This is the spec for the motherboard. You will be using one of the expansion slots

Have you tried any games on your pc. Many older games will run fine as it is. I've got a packard bell with integrated graphics (Geforce 8200, although after updating my drivers recently now shows as 9200 for some reason, but still working), and it plays older stuff like NWN and Morrowind fine. I keep meaning to upgrade mine, but cost and the fact I'm having no probs deters me.

If you want to play the latest games you may have problems. Try, and see first before upgrading.

The ebay one is an 8400gs ,typical ebay hype and BS. The one mentioned above is far better -
