Eeek just had a young lad knock on the door saying he is stuck in Colchester and could I lend him some money to get home to London!

I said no, because I have been caught out with that story before and gave the person £10 - pre MSE days have to say anf of course I didn't get it back like he promised!

Still felt sorry for him, though if he is spinning a story he must have a lot of front to do it. Suggested he went to the police station, but he said he had been and they weren't interested.

Claire have been selling old clothes mainly, also some of B's old Jolly phonics stuff (which goes for good money). More to tidy out tomorrow ready for the next phase. Bun, sort of on the money, we are sitting down at weekend to go through all our money and what he will give me, debts etc.

tenmah - how awkward you must have felt. In town there are some regular people who want a bus fare due to <blah blah>. I told one of them that they had told me the same sob storey about 15 mins walk away the previous week and she got very angry with me! I find her scarey so if I see her in the street I walk another way.
