Hiya Love, hows the post date reflective stage going?

    And the hangover...........:D

    Morning Lou.

Well, I quite like him...I think. At first I didn't. He walked ahead of me all the way to the pub which irritated me, and he tried to be funny with the barman, who was clearly not impressed with his attempts at humour, and I felt a bit embarrassed.

But we chatted non-stop all night, and laughed lots, and the goodnight kisses were a bit :j :j so...it was nice.

He said just before he left 'You are great company...and not to be too shallow about it...very sexy'. :o:o

And then he sent me a text from the train that just said 'Um...Wow x'.

He hasn't been in touch this morning yet, mind you! How impatient am I?? :D

It was far from instant head-over-heels-ness, but I think I'd like to see him again (if he asks) and see how we get on sober! :o

    No hangover today, thankfully. :T

    mooooorning!

Been up since 6.15 with the Bunnykins-they were so excited about egg hunting. I have started packing, kids nearly sorted so just me and I have started mine already (DH can do himself!) We arent bringing much as we plan on shopping a wee bit while we are there and I have a feeling the kids *may* get spoiled a bit by the family.

House nearly sorted, need to hoover all over, sort DD room out (its a tip) and tidy DS room. Will do our bedding tomorrow as have a friend staying at the house while we are away, bathroom as well-I did it a few days ago so its just a spruce up. A bit of laundry from yesterday and today and then 3 Cambridge clients tomorrow-then we are off!

Kids have had chocolate for breakfast....is that bad?

Snags-glad it turned out ok x

Katsu-liking the flaowers, talented lady x

DD and I are watching Total wipeout, makes me larf

Thank you Snags-its a dream holiday for us, it has been for years. We have talked about doing it even before we had kids! I am most excited about seeing my family and them seeing the kids again.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
