Okay, I have straightened my hair. Now wondering why on earth I have agreed to late afternoon drinks when my face is covered in sun rash and related spotty outbreak and I feel so fat. Darkness would have been my friend today.
I am also convinced I still smell of garlic despite a bath, a shower, and a large packet of mints.
And the scar on my arm from the coldsore looks horrendous, flaky and red - which means I need to put a plaster on it....which I am allergic to, so it will be even more itchy and red by tomorrow.
Also have new coldsore inside my nose, which is making my whole face hurt.
Pleeeeeease can I just stay at home?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Snags, I say go with your gut instinct, if you really don't want to go then don't, there will be a reason you feel like this, trust your gut xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0

No you can't Snags, it's better to get out and potentially have fun, than stay in and think 'what if'? You will be fine, look gorgeous and you do not smell of garlic.xx
Edit - I do agree with Buffy though actually, if it's your gut instinct xxBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Forthed, especially #9, as my foreign language skills stretch about as far as 'Parlez-vous l'anglais?' (and even that I had to check the spelling of).

Also Snags, all these cold sores are surely a sign of you not being in the best health, I would so be going for a nap and a DVD. REST UP you know xxxx

but if he sees you at you worst, Snaggs, and is still interested, surely that's a good sign?Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

to knock off a few of your worries - you are not fat and you won't smell of garlic. Can you cover your arm with something - shrug, long sleeved top? Would a bit of concealer help? A paracetamol and an ibuprofen will lessen the inflammation of the cold sore and the pain.
However, cold sores are a sign of a low immune system or being run down, so maybe a bit of bloke-less time and a bit more Snaggs time might be the best idea."Stay Wonky":D
