Sounds good Hypno-I like the sound of that.

Suze-busy time at Church for all the 'go to Church twice a year' brigade (of which I am usually one, lol)

I need to tidy/clean house and start the packing process.

Oooh packing. I LOVE packing!! My stomach is doing somersaults just thinking about going into the loft for my suitcase.

In fact that's what I will do this weekend. Get down the suitcase, find my summer clothes and see what fits. I've already started my list of "what to take".

DD1 asked me to guess what she had bought for my birthday so I did. Unfortunately I guessed correctly and she was gutted....she never thought I would get it.

I'm SO excited as she has bought me a Radley passport cover....something I have wanted for ages, but never been able to justify buying for myself :)

It will still be a surprise as I've no idea about the colour or design. Bet that will be the last time she says "go on then, guess.....you'll never get it". Shame....poor girl.

I'll be spending the easter hols making endless cups of tea,and taking them into the garage, where the RR restoration is taking precedence over everything..

I could have sworn DH said when he gave up work he'd be able to take a turn on lunch/dinner/cooking rotas....hmm,must have imagined that as he hasn't worked since December, but he's yet to venture into the kitchen....

Sorry girls but I'm wallowing a bit as the kids are off school for 2 weeks, we have free business class tickets available ANYWHERE in the world, and I'm sitting here looking at the rain, thinking of all my (current) BA friends heading off to Seychelles/Singapore/Hong Kong/Vegas/Cape Town/Wherever..

'Cos DH has spent the last 35 years travelling, and the LAST thing he wants to do now is get on a plane somewhere.....the novelty of being at home hasn't worn off for him yet.....
He doesn't like sunbathing, he much prefers to be doing something (like fixing cars up!)I could have insisted going somewhere (don't mind going on my own with kids, that's ok) but he's still in that "I'm not sure if we can afford it" stage as we are on his months of unpaid leave, and living off savings right now, so it seems a little indulgent doesn't it??
(Although, very annoyingly, I just mentioned late on weds afternoon (31st) that our 2 lots of free tickets expired at midnight, and in 30 years we had never not used them, and he goes "Do you wanna go somewhere then? OK,book something!!!!!!!!! It was 4pm!)

    Morning all

Suzy - Your daughter must have been  that you guessed...lovely pressie though!

Buns - Sounds like CD is going well. Good luck with your list today.

Hypno - Don't forget the before and after photos of your spare rooms transformation into an office....good luck with the decluttering too.

Sun's shining here (for now anyway) so will be heading off out later to pick up a bit of shopping....DH wants to flex his new wheels :D Might even get as far as the sandy beach...somewhere we've not been able to get to for 8 months now because of the steep hills.

Probably - I thought we could delete things, but I can't for the life of me work out how!

Perhaps someone with more of a brain than I have will be able to do the necessary :o

You can delete your own posts in a thread as long as they are not the starting post.

You can't delete threads you have started.

So it's not you at all. Just the way the forum is set up. :)

As per your request, I've removed the duplicate chat thread.
