Receipts don't match

Hi,
Six weeks ago i sold my VW Polo privately. I gave the buyer a reciept with all the sold as seen etc etc that was done on my computer and printed off - two copies, eachs igned by the buyer and myself.
As part of the sale i agreed to forward the service book (with service stamps) if i was able to find it. This was hand written on to the buyers copy of the receipt (by the buyer) and i initialled it - and sent the book a couple of weeks later after i found it.
The buyer has since got in touch by email to ask for all past MOTs, service receipts etc claiming that this was also agreed in the sale (it wasn't as i don't have them - only had the current MOT which the buyer now has). They are asking for the additional documents or compensation for not abiding the terms of the sale. They have posted a photocopy of their reciept to me and it has a further line handwritten next to where i initialled about the service book, looking like i also agreed to forward on past MOT's and service receipts for past 3 years.
It looks like i initialled to agree both points due to the way they have fitted in the new line. The handwritten notes are only on the buyers copy of the receipt. My copy of the receipt is still as was orginally signed by myself and the buyer.
Where do i stand with this?

tell them to whistle for it ! your reciept is your proof so just ignore them they are trying to scam you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

you can get past MOT history here going back to 2006 http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-Internet-History-Request.jsp
all you need is the reg number of the car and the mot test number on the mot certificate. you could send him the link.

no, but he does so he will have access to the history which is what he wants. sounds like he wants a get out anyway, but you could send him a message saying that providing MOT receipts doesn't appear on your receipt but here's a facility whereby you can print this yourself if you so wish.

so if you have one cert number you can access the history?0

Just ignore his emails, he is just being a plonker.0

yes all he needs is the number from the most recent cert, which he's got. plus the reg of the car. if he plugs those into the site he'll get info on all previous mot's, reasons for failure, advisories etc...
But as the above post, you could probably just ignore him.

Important point here, if you modify a receipt, modify both the same, and both parties sign the modification.
Ideally, buyer writes the modification on the sellers receipt, and vice versa.
Protects both sides then.0 -
It is true that you could advise the buyer how to get the old MOT details, but as he is a chancer, ignore him or give him a dry slap, the only choices here.0
