Me too! Stupid bank holiday!0 -
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on your side?
I believe so...
- I've seen solictor, gone through the paperwork, signed the necessary.
- I have collected all money in one account - in an instant savings with the bank who are providing the mortgage.
I presume I contact the bank to transfer money as soon as I inform my solicitor I am ready to exchange?
Am I missing anything?
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on the other side?
Not sure - I would expect so...
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on your side up the chain?
No chain
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on your side up the chain to the top?
No chain
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on the other side up the chain?
They have already purchased a place and moved - no chain
Is all pre-Exchange work complete on the other side up the chain to the top?
No chain
OK. NOW you can instruct your solicitor......
So am I good to go?

True true - cup half full and all that.
but I daren't look at furnishings which are on sale this weekend until I know things are more concrete - so it's just a tad bit frustrating.

Just did a second viewing this morning. I thought that all of the EAs would be closed but they said they were open as Easter weekend is one of their busiest times of the year,.0 -
The estate agent is open but only 1 person in the office therefore she cant leave the office for a viewing!
Tomorrow I have to go somewhere else, not sure if they are open on Monday.....0 -
so long weekend came... and went....
2 weeks on no exchange, radio silence from vendor.
Today learn that vendor has split from his partner - they'd already moved in together - into her place. So now it's not clear whether he is going to sell or not
Im gutted
