Quite a large thread about here on this, most of us long term egg customers have cancelled their cards because of it - damn shameIf at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0

I thought about cancelling... but it's still a good stooze mule card!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

As Alictatit implied, apply for Egg Money (4% on positive balances, no BT charge) then cancel your Egg Card.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I e-mailed Egg to tell them this new deal was pants and they replied that they felt sorry I felt that way! Made me feel a lot better that.0

Is this for all Egg Credit Card customers? I've had mine for a couple of years so if it applies to me too I think I'll ditch the card. Having said that, the anniversary is at least 6 months away, so maybe they'll have a change of heart in the meantime...0

Have today received an email from Egg about the anniversary offer however it actually states:
'Get 0% interest fixed until 1 january 2007 on any balance transfer throughout August 2006. And better still - there are no transfer fees topay'
Nothing in terms or conditions about a fee -am I missing the point?0 -

Allways read the small print
Yes its not longer a viable card for stoozers, but still good for those with large revolving debts.0 -
There is small print on the email but it says nothing about a transfer fee.
Having searched this site it looks like a few people have got away without a fee (although don't know what would make us so special).
Can't see how they can charge one if they have specifically said there isn't one.0 -
Think it depends on when your anniversary is.
Mine is next January and I don't get it.
Thought all the free ones had finished but maybe not. It's worth ringing them to confirm it. If they say you have a fee then tell them what the email says and get them to check as you would be an exception.0
