Favourites and history

Can anyone tell me, on the history, next to feeds where my favourites is, does this automatically delete this every month, because I went on it today and it was clear!!!

    It clears every 20 days by default, cookies and files downloaded from sites wont clear untill you press the button. Only url's accessed is cleared automatically this can be changed within IE settings. Depending which browser you use of course.

    The default for IE is to delete anything over 20 days old, so anything from the last 20 days should be there. Normally if all the history has disappeared (which I think is what the OP is saying) then unless you've specifically pressed the delete button in settings, its probably some sort of tuneup/cleaning utilty program e.g CCleaner, which you may have run previously and its got an automatic setting.
