Has anyone had a broadband dongle and laptop from 3.
As tempted to get the £17.50 x 24 months Dell mini 10 and 1GB/month offer.
I cant find much praise of 3 bb service is it as bad as forums say?
Anyone done one of these 'free' netbook contracts?
Thanks

A friend of mine went on to 3 for a while when waiting for his broadband to activate in his home. Said it was next to useless as it kept dropping out.
From what I have seen on forums, T-mobile seem to have the best coverage.
Having said that, what you are talking about here is spending £17.50 a month for 24 months. That's £420 and for that you are going to get a netbook that you can pick up from the Dell Outlet website for less than £200 and 24Gb of internet. My family (4 of us with separate computers) use more than 24Gb in 2 months.
My suggestion; use your £420 to buy yourself an iPhone. For 12 months, you get 750mb (so three quarters of a Gb) free download and access to The Cloud wi-fi sites (pubs and other places). Plus, you get a really good phone!!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Thats why most companies who offer deals like this offer a coverage check before you place the order incase your wasting your time

yep - I've been with 3 dongle for about 2 years. Just upgraded to the £35 a month deal 5GB and a Samsung laptop
Love the laptop, and the upgraded dongle together gives me much faster internet0 -
Good to hear it works ok for some. It says I am in indoor coverage area. So may go for. The 1GB will be enough as it is just for when away and if Virgin bb down at home. Just an extra really.
Any other 3 experiences? Thanks0
