Sue, I'm really curious to know what it's used in?
we use it to make slime - its a proper version of that rubbery gooey stuff - high molecular weight polyvinyl actetate solution plus borax solution when mixed in the correct amounts makes slime. we make it to show cross linking in polymers, its a good prac because of how the bonds form, you can stretch it or sheer it. and when finished addd sulphuric acid which destroys the bonds and you get liquid again.
