hi
I want to buy one of these as a pressie, but I don't know the first thing about the things
I understand that the minimum screen size should be about 7", but other than that I dont have a clue.. theres one for £100 on the john lewis website with a 2 year guarantee, but it says the battery life is 2 hrs.. would that be enough? or is this a bad idea?
Any advice wil be gratefully received,
CS

It depends where it is going to be used. If it's in a car, then you don't need to worry about the battery as you can use the in-car charger that should come with it and which plugs into the cigarette lighter/power supply.
In a hotel/house etc there will be a mains power lead you can use.
I suppose the down side is if you want to use it on a train where you have no power supply - two hours is typical feature film length - if your journey is longer than that you have no more entertainment!
Sorry if that all sounds obvious, but hope that is useful. We have certainly used ours the most in the car to keep the children quiet on long journeys.0
