My glass in my front door got broken a while ago and I thought it would be very expensive to replace it-I was quoted £200 and so I stuck some plywood in there and tried to save with limited success.I have recently got back into moneysaving mode and realised how much heat we must be losing through that plywood and so I have just rung a local company and had a quote for £50!!!I am so pleased! My dad is going to come and measure it properly and take the piece I had left over so they can match the pattern and fit it as I am useless as DIY but I will have a nice front door again next week :)

Hehe it's OK :) I am even happier now as the final price was actually £30 :) It won't be ready till Wednesday cos of Easter but at that price I can wait.

Glass has been installed and looks lovely :) Not to mention no more draughts from there. The corridor is suddenly much lighter too LOL.
