Feedback as seller?

Hello,i am new to Ebay and have just sold my first item couple of days ago.:j. I recived payment staight away through Paypal and am assuming that the buyer has recived the item as i posted 1st class within an hour of payment confirmed.

Now i am scratching my head as to when to leave feedback as a seller?? Do i wait for the buyer to leave it first??

Sorry for the question being so obvious, but hey That's me!!!!

It's up to you, some sellers leave feedback as soon as payment has cleared - others wait until the buyer has left feedback. I do the first one.

There is not really a right and wrong way to do it.

We leave feedback after the buyer does, in a huge batch at a time.

Amazing how many buyers will send the "leave me feedback" message, despite it being irrelevent.

Here we go again! I leave ours after payment as Dave says buyer FB is worthless (as you can only leave a positive) so leaving it first means I remeber and keeps those buyers who seem to get all excited by their feedback. Leaving it first does not effect any dispute process that may happen

Considering how many sellers say no bidders under 5/10 feedback, it's not always irrelevent.

That said I saw an auction the other day saying no bidders with under 50 feedback!

It's unenforcable though. You can say "no bidders called Joe", but you can't stop Joe Bloggs from bidding.

I leave my feedback when the buyer has paid and I am packaging up their parcel for them.
This way, I don't forget and I can remember which I can mark as "Immediate payment", which are "prompt payment" and which are "ok".
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

I leave it normally straight away, especially if a fast buyer.

I never leave feedback to say the item has arrived, unless the seller has left it first, them I'll wait until I'd used whatever I've bought as well. Assume no news is good news, but then again I wouldn't query it not arriving for a week either as a buyer though.
