holiday to caribbean

I've just booked a holiday to the caribbean with thomas cook online and the total came to 1500 with 1420 quid discount so was 80 pound. I dont know if there must be some mistake there but it all went through ok and i've got a confirmation e-mail that it's booked for that price, if there is a mistake on thomas cooks behalf will they have to honour my booking or could they cancel it at any point? the holiday is for a week going 9th june 2010.

  • If it's a genuine mistake they can cancel it and refund your money.

I thought once money had been charged then the binding contract was formed? i thought it was only prior to purchase that a company can back out of a mistake?
  • I thought if it was on the internet I might have entered in to a contract with them already unlike if at a travel agents. No one has contacted me yet to say there's been a mistake but I don't want to wait until the holiday gets closer just for them to cancel it

    1)Is this an April Fool??

2)If the answer to 1) is "no" then are you sure it isn't £1500 with an £80 discount, totalling £1420

    3) If 1) and 2) are both no, and it is £80 - I am sure that they can cancel and withdraw the offer, and refund you - but I could be wrong!
  • No april fool I have the confirmation that the total cost is £80 for the whole holiday and that this has been taken from my account

whats the link, i want to go for £80!!
  • it went down to £72 but it says the flights full now, i just want to know for certain as I don't want the holiday cancelled. I didn't book it because it was cheap I would have paid full price and still would but of course I would love to only pay £80 as well, i just don't want it cancelled then for them to say the holidays no longer available
