GE Money claim...topshop card

I have recently found a few credit cards/store cards/ loans that have all had ppi on them without me even knowing...I'm in the process with AA, which I am pursuing myself, HSBC credit card which I have instructed a company called Gladstone Brooks to deal with...but the last one which is Ge money I am also pursuing myself....but I sent a letter to them recorded delivery on 30th march...I've just checked royal mail tracker service and it still says it is processing??....I thought it would have been delivered by now? Doesn't 1st class post get there next day anymore??.... What's happening? Lol

will check after Easter now as I'm not sure if there's post tomorrow...

hi i have had dealings with GE money and i have sent recorded post, faxed whilst on the phone & still taken them for ever to come back.good luck there should be post Sat this week not sure about Fri & Mon.

Call Royal Mail find out what they have to say after all it is them who recorded the letter and took payment for this service.

Just an update....the letter which i sent recorded delivery still hasnt been signed for?...i checked on the Royal Mail tracking site as well as ask them in the actual post office to ask....they fobbed me off with "1st class isnt guaranteed, and to check in a few days"....

Gosh it shudda been delivered by now surely...

Just an update

After phoning the customer services for the Royal Mail in regards to the delay of my 1st class recorded delivery sent to GE Money, i had no success, they said their systems were down and they couldnt check if it had been signed for....blah blah blah...that was from the 30th March...

ANYWAY!!!! Got a letter from Santander (why do they have so many names, GE Money, GE Capital and Santander !!!!!!????) today saying that they will be investigating my complaint and that they will get bk 2 me within the next 4weeks....So inactual fact they DID get the letter on April 6th.....shame on Royal Mail tut tut.

i received a letter from GE money today....with an enclosed copy of the original credit agreement that i had signed BLAH BLAH BLAH!! And a letter stating that i would have been informed when taking the cover out that it was not compulsary....whatever!......Anyway, im thinking 2nd letter??...

Any advice guys?...

I've just got off the phone with Gladstone Brookes & I paid them a £50 deposit. They will try and claim back miss-sold PPI from Blackhorse for a car loan I took in 2007. From reading a few threads it appears this is a long procedure!
Didn't know about this site until today, great to see I'm not the only joe going through this!

Yes I have used Gladstone Brooks with my HSBC ppi because i think thats the trickiest of the 3 claims ive got going on and hopefully it shud fetch a wedge of £500+ but we'll see...

In the meantime I have just my 2nd letter to Santander/GE Money basically tellin em 14 days guys or im off to the FOS with no hesitation lol...

Let the countdown begin...

Been gone for a while but now im back lol

I have had several (3) letters from Santander now saying nothing but rubbish....so ive escalated it to the FOS now.

The FOS have now taken the case on as stated in their letter today!

I know this thread relates to PPI's for loans, but I had a couple of store cards with these guys and I wrote to them to reclaim unfair charges to my accounts.

I had a letter from Santander stating that they would come back to in four weeks. This week I received a check for £157 - no problems

Keep on at them - it seems they repay for some things.
